    Thanks to sale-pricing on iTunes, several classic hits surge on Billboard 's Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart and other surveys dated April 10.
    During the latest sales tracking period , iTunes listed on its front page a category dubbed “69 Cent Rock Hits,” and the placement drew sizable sales gains for many of its featured songs. The latest special follows recent iTunes 69-cent deals for pop and R&B/hip-hop hits.

    On April 8, 2006, Gary LeVox, his cousin Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney, better known as Rascal Flatts , began a four-week stay atop Billboard 's Hot Country Songs chart with “What Hurts the Most,” its fifth leader.
    Penned by Jeffrey Steele and Steve Robson, the song was released from Rascal Flatts' fourth LP, Me and My Gang , which spent 15 weeks atop Top Country Albums and three atop the all-genre Billboard 200. The ballad also ruled Adult Contemporary and hit No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
