    AC/DC blow away the competition in the U.K. with Power Up , which blasts to No. 1 on the national albums chart.
    The Australian rockers snag their fourth career No. 1, and they so with the year's biggest one-week tally, some 62,000 combined sales, the Official Charts Company reports.
    Power Up is the biggest album release anywhere right now, securing chart-topping debuts in the U.S., Australia and elsewhere.
    Staying in the U.K., the Rock And Roll Hall of Famers unseat another legendary Australian act from the summit, Kylie Minogue , whose Disco dips 1-5.

  • At Long Last, Queen's ‘Greatest Hits' Reaches the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 Chart

    Nearly 40 years after its initial release, Queen 's Greatest Hits has reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the first time, rising from No. 36 to No. 8 on the chart dated Nov. 28.
    The album earned 36,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Nov. 19 , according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The surge is largely owed to massive vinyl sale on Nov. 14 at Walmart, where all vinyl albums in-store were marked down to $15.
    In the week ending Nov. 19, Greatest Hits sold 24,000 copies across all formats , with vinyl LPs accounting for 23,000 of that sum.

    AC/DC's latest album, "Power Up", has entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 1. The effort shifted 117,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week of release, according to Billboard. Of that sum, 111,000 were album sales, 5,000 (equaling 7.8 million on-demand streams of the album's songs) were streaming equivalent albums units; and 1,000 were track equivalent albums units.
